Panther Athletes Head To NCAA Last Chance

CHARLESTON, Ill. - Several Eastern Illinois men's and women's tack athletes will take one more shot in an attempt to qualify for the upcoming NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships. A contingent of Panther athletes will head to the Iowa State NCAA Last Chance Meet this weekend.

Heading up the women's team will be middle distance runner Erin O'Grady and senior hurdler Chandra Golden.

On the men's side LaMarr Pottinger will compete in the 60m hurdles while Dorrian White competes in the pole vault.

Darren Patterson, Marcus Williams, Sean Wiggan and Wes Sheldon will comprise the Panthers 4x400 relay team that will be in action in Ames.

EIU is coming off a men's and women's sweep of the OVC Championships last weekend in Nashville, Tenn.
