Charay is a freshman hurdler for EIU... competed in four events at the IHSA State Track meet competing for East HS in Belleville, Ill... fourth place finisher in the 100 meter hurdles with a time of 14.44... set a school record in the 100 hurdles of 14.2 at the sectional...  competed in the 300 meter hurdles, 4x100 relay and 4x400 relay... originally attended Otay Ranch HS in San Diego, Calif., before moving the St. Louis area for the last two years.
