Panther Harriers Compete At Illinois Open
Saturday, October 26 2013 - Illini OpenEIU ran Friday afternoon in Champaign
CHAMPAIGN, Ill. - Eastern Illinois men's and women's cross country competed on Friday afternoon at the Illinois Open. The Panthers will compete at the Ohio Valley Conference Championships on Nov. 2 at Morehead State.
Victor Delatorre was the top EIU men's runner finishing 14th with a time of 26:17. EIU's other competitors included Bruyn Yunk in 19th at 26:33, at Mark Pedziwaitr in 20th with a time of 26:38, Brian Mateas in 21st with a time fo 26:38, Greg Rogers in 25th with a time of 27:06, Tyler Anderson in 26th with a time of 27:08 and Brock Ramos in 29th with a time of 27:33.
Amy Yeoman was the top EIU women's runner finisher 23rd with a time of 19:08. EIU's other competitors included Kristen Rohrer in 24th with a time of 19:09, Laura Magnuson in 31st with a time of 19:14, Emily Pedziwiatr in 40th with a time of 19:43, Cassy Shaffer in 42nd with a time of 19:46, Gaby Duenas-Delaney in 44th with a time of 19:54, Amanda Patterson in 46th with a time of 19:55 and Jennifer Luna in 52nd with a time of 20:35.
