EASTERN: Angela is a junior thrower... set personal record in weight throw with a 44-04.00 mark at EIU Friday Night Special... scored points with a 7th place finish in shot put for EIU Indoor OVC championship team... best outdoor finish in 2007 was a 5th place showing in the discus at EIU Big Blue Classic... had a second place finish at the SIU Edwardsville Twilight with a shot put toss of 41-3.0... season best in discus was at the 2006 OVC Outdoor Championships with a mark of 121-05.0 that placed her seventh... had a 7th place finish in the shot put at OVC outdoor meet... placed eighth in the shot put (40-6 ¼) at the 2006 OVC indoor meet...
HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped for coach Keith Peak at Hoffman Estates HS where she was the female ‘Athlete of the Year’ in 2005... lettered four times in track, three times in volleyball... earned all-state indoor track honors... was two-time Daily Herald All-Area in volleyball... two-time team MVP and team captain in track... member of both National Honor Society and Spanish Honor Society.
