EASTERN: Tarra is a junior sprinter...  set two personal bests during indoor season which also ranked on EIU Top 10 list... had a 400 dash time of 58.42 which ranks 7th and 60 dash time of 7.82 which ranks 10th... also rank second leg on two 4x400 teams that had 9th and best EIU times... had a personal best in 400 dash that ranked 9th on EIU list at 56.47... first team All-OVC running third leg on 4x100 team that had 9th fastest EIU time and advanced to NCAA Regional... second team All-OVC in 4x400 with 9th fastest EIU time... ran a leg on the sixth place 4x400 relay at the 2006 OVC indoor meet... redshirted 2006 outdoor season.

 

HIGH SCHOOL:  Prepped for coach John Gutman at Beardstown HS where she was the 200 and 400 meter Class A state champ in 2005... earned four letters in track... she set school records in the long jump, 100, 200 400 dashes and sprint medley relay... was voted team Most Dedicated all four years... .graduated in top 10% in her class.

 

PERSONAL: Tarra is a physical education major who wants to teach/coach track... daughter of Marsha Grant.
