Riebold 2012

NAMPA, Idaho - Eastern Illinois sophomore Jade Riebold completed her first indoor track and field season with the Panthers on Saturday evening placing 14th in the pole vault at the NCAA Indoor Track & Field National Championships being hosted by Boise State University.

A transfer from the University of Georgia, Riebold has made a splash during her first season with the Panthers.
At the NCAA meet she cleared 13'9.25" to place 14th.  During the season she set the school record in the event and in the process became the first EIU female athlete to reach the NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships.  Riebold was the OVC Indoor Female Field Athlete of the Year and set the conference record for the pole vault.

Riebold joined Zye Boey as competitors from EIU at this year's NCAA National Championships.  Boey placed 15th in the 200m dash on Friday evening.
