Klaus Named OVC Female Runner Of The Week

BRENTWOOD, Tenn. - Eastern Illinois junior Olivia Klaus was named the Ohio Valley Conference co-Female Runner of the Week for cross country following her performance last Friday at the Illinois Intercollegiate.
Klaus finished sixth in the event as she ran a personal best 5K time of 17:57. It was the sixth fastest 5K time in EIU history in a field of 291 competitors. Klaus helped the Panthers place fourth as a team in the meet.
EIU will return to action on Friday, Sept. 30 when they compete at the Notre Dame Gold Invite.
