LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Eastern Illinois men's and women's track competed in its final regular season meet on Friday at the Louisville Twilight. The Panthers posted four first place finishes while adding two marks that ranked in the EIU career top ten.

The Panthers 4x100 men's relay team won with a time of 40.08 which is the second best time in school history.  The relay team included Christian Ilunga-Matthiesen,Calvin EdwardsJamal Robinson and Kaleel Johnson.

Joe Calio posted the other top ten mark in school history competing in the men's steeplechase.  Calio placed second with a time of 9:02.62 which ranks 8th in the Panthers career top ten.

Edwards won the men's 200m dash with a time of 21.31. 

Mick Viken led a one, two finish for the EIU men in the pole vault.  Viken cleared 17'1.50" to win the event.  Peter Geraghty was second at 16'7.50".   Annemarie Reid was third in the women's pole vault with a vault of 12'6.75".

Dhiaa Dean led a one, two finish for the EIU women in the 800m run.  Dean won the event with a time of 2:10.78.   Kristen Paris was second with a time of 2:11.49.

Jalisa Paramore placed second in the women's 100m hurdles with a time of 13.99.  Daniel Trevor was second in the men's 400m hurdles with a time of 52.91.

David Johansson rounded out the EIU finishers in the top three with a second place finish in the javelin.  Johansson had a throw of 194'11".
